At MyICE ID, we believe that critical medical information should never be out of reach when it matters most. We bridge the gap between individuals in distress and the first responders trying to save them.
What is ICE?
ICE (In Case of Emergency) is a comprehensive digital medical profile system designed to speak for you when you cannot. We provide smart, durable physical products—like NFC-enabled cards and wearable bands—that link directly to your secure, cloud-based medical profile.
When an emergency occurs, first responders can simply tap their smartphone to your ICE product or scan the QR code. Instantly, they are presented with your vital statistics, allergies, medications, and emergency contacts.
Simultaneously, our system can automatically notify your designated loved ones with your location, ensuring they are informed the moment you need help.

Meet Jonathan
Jonathan has always had a passion for sport and endurance challenges. Apart from a few wayward years between the ages of 15 and 30, he has remained deeply involved in athletics and competed in triathlon for around 15 years before moving to France in 2002.
His love of cycling continued long after stepping away from regular triathlon competition, and he can still regularly be found riding in the lower Alps with his local cycling group. In 2025, he completed his first Olympic-distance triathlon in 27 years — an experience he openly admits was considerably harder than he remembered.
Professionally, Jonathan has spent most of his working life as both a yacht captain and yacht broker. Alongside this, he has always maintained a strong interest in personal safety and emergency preparedness — something that eventually led to the creation of MyICE ID.
Like many cyclists and endurance athletes, Jonathan has had his fair share of accidents over the years. Two years ago, following a serious cycling crash near Antibes, he was left unconscious and later admitted to hospital with severe concussion. Fortunately, when he regained consciousness, he was still coherent enough to tell friends who to contact, and they were able to unlock his phone using his thumb to access emergency information.
The experience left a lasting impression on him and highlighted just how vulnerable people can become in an emergency situation.
The idea for MyICE ID became even more relevant in May 2025 when Jonathan was stopped on his motorbike by the local French gendarmerie. Having no ID or proof of address with him at the time, he realised how difficult it would have been for anyone to identify or assist him if something serious had happened. Although his vehicle could eventually have been traced to his address, Jonathan lives alone much of the time, meaning there would have been nobody immediately available to help coordinate care or contact loved ones.
Soon afterwards, Jonathan discussed the concept with his long-time friend Anna during one of their rides together. The two had already shared several charity cycling adventures, including rides from London to Antibes, Barcelona to Antibes, and Biarritz to Antibes. Anna immediately saw the value and potential of the idea, and together they decided to develop MyICE ID.

Meet Anna
Anna is an endurance cyclist and bikepacker based between France and Sweden. She has been cycling since 2016 and got into gravel riding and solo bikepacking in 2022. A lot of her free time is spent exploring mountain roads, trails, and remote places by bike. She is also one of the leading Long Côte (walking through seawater – a bit bizarre if you ask me!) participants in France.
The idea behind MyICEID felt personal to Anna from the beginning and she quickly volunteered to co-find the company. After being involved in cycling accidents herself, including one where she was knocked unconscious, she understood how important it can be for first responders or passersby to quickly access emergency contact and medical information.
Anna immediately saw the value in creating something simple that could genuinely help people in difficult situations. While MyICEID is especially useful for cyclists and outdoor athletes, we also believe it can make a real difference for children, older adults, and even pets.
Meet Lisa
Lisa was invited to join the MyICEid team because of her extensive customer support experience and her keen eye for detail. Based in East Sussex, Lisa is a keen tennis player and, somewhat reluctantly, attends an early-morning Pilates class once a week!
Lisa has enjoyed a varied career, mainly in marketing roles, but for the past 12 years she has worked in customer support for a building company. She is delighted to now be supporting clients at MyICEid and looks forward to helping wherever she can.
If you have any questions regarding deliveries, engraving, or absolutely anything else, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Lisa.
